Looks like a really nice body to start with. Great workmanship on the woodless pillar. East Coast style channeled rods are under-appreciated, looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Part 1 of building the rear rims . I was always taught wheels and tires and stance is what would make or break a car . When I started thinking about this project years ago i knew I wanted to run a set of widening and reversed Buick hooped chrome reverse rims . This is what was done back in the day before you could just go to a catalog and buy a set of new rims and what I think looks the best when it comes to chrome reverse wheels . I got lucky Because the old rims off the Ejob weren’t being used and were the perfect candidate for what I needed . So I started off by removing the original centers . Splitting the hoops by cutting the hoops at different lengths making these 6-1/2” rims to a 8” . Then I started milling the two hoops to true the cuts .

After you've "slain" the Ardun, how about let this HAMBer help you hide the corpse? Seriously though, great job man.

    Thank you ,
3 Weber’s wouldn’t fit with the era of this head , also as rare as this intake is I’m definitely going to be running it .

  24. Yeah, I know that that intake looks great.

Sometimes with this really old sheet metal you got to fix one small spot that you weren’t happy with and everything thing turns paper thin and falls apart that you just have to cut out a large section and start over .

Awesome to come across this thread over my morning coffee Cody. Fantastic work. The diversity of the HAMB within the prescribed limits is one of the things that keeps me coming back here.
