And that piss yellow 57 is quite a sight too, a four door to boot.
    So wrong on many levels!

That actually would have been a car that ran in the Gas coupe and sedan classes of the day ,not like most of the 70's street freak versions that everyone seems to think are gassers { a slang term started back in the day to describe the gas classes of the day} that fill up a good portion of this thread! Larry

  7. Larry I agree...but in the past others would argue it was a J/S or M/P car. I didn’t see any designation to a class..just thought it was a cool car, cool history, so I put it up.

Definitely not jr stock with no front bumper, hood scoop and cut up rear wheel wells. Loveotiki you’ve been around long enough now and post some good stuff that some of this gasser stuff ought to be starting to sink in .

The red 57 in post #1815 is either a BelAir that has been relieved of its quarter insert or a 210 hardtop that has had BelAir quarter trim caps put on in place of the short 210 caps.

Post #1812 by poor boys. The red 57 called Frankenstein. Look at the roof line, especially by the backlight glass. 4 door hardtop with 2 door hardtop side trim, so the "chrome" does't have the door gaps since the doors have been closed up. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Don't see it, #1812 is missing.

  20. I see it , Denny . Too bad you can't un-see it. Franken "stien" LOL..69 Nat.champ of what the demo derby?
Some of the stuff on this page is a little shaky..Actually more like an earthquake.

  21. John Duzac's car is a '72 era Super / Stocker o_O

    Don't need a ' chute till 150 mph..Who's playing with what here?
Those are carbs of some sort, aren't they ? Webers maybe? In which case a real gasser would need a hood scoop or flashing over them.
Modern heads, brakes, wheelie bars..No thanks
Surprised it doesn't have you know what front wheels.
I do like the 150 two tone body though.;)

Well can't please everybody... that is why there is a scroll wheel on your mouse ... don't like what you are viewing scroll on past. ;)

    Clone or rebuilt?

  24. I don't see anything wrong with "FRANKENSTEIN". I'd whip that Bad Bitch! I also would love to own that car. I think they were pretty creative in making it a 2 door on the cheap! That's what I'd call Old School Cool but I'm kinda warped that way!!

  25. Does it matter on the Jim Zakia 55? Either it's the original or a dead nuts copy of it. A real "gasser" and definitely not a modern interpretation of a street freak.
On the two tone car..Hopefully the second pic is the newer version, and he sold those wheels to one of the aforementioned street freakers.

    I still don't see it!!!
The only one I have found is that yellow four door SEDAN, Teachers Pet:eek:
And he's not even hiding that it's a four door other than removing the handles.
I'm sure Mark is right, nothing to be missed.
