That's not Rocky's wagon... his is a maroon color, plus Rocky's are "kit" cars, and that appears to be an actual real one. ;)

Don't they have wood wagon events on the East coast?

pwschuh, we do have Woodie specific car shows in the Northeast. Ogunquit ME, Wareham MA & Mystic Seaport CT. all have an annual Woodie event. None of these shows have the number of cars that Wavecrest brings. When these cars were used as everyday transportation in the Northeast, they needed to deal with Mother Nature's rain and snow and it took it's toll. The dry Southwest was kinder to the wood and metal, so there are fewer Woodies in the Northeast.

  11. Wow , looking over the event pics ....I wanna go. My dream as a kid was to be a beach boy and have a Woody . When I graduated high school in 72 my best friend and I took off to see the country in a 71 El Camino and camped all over on our way to California. We talked about relocating and living the dream . Driving back to Maryland after 8600 miles of traveling our dreams slowly faded but looking back it was all worth it . his girlfriend snatched him up and they were married. I went on to restore my 67 Nova SS which I still have and he is still married to the same girl. We recently connected after years and talk of our dream trip. Its not over and I am going to try to attend . Thanks for the pics and rekindling my memory.

Saw this on Facebook, looks like a Wavecrest Woody Cruise yesterday. Pretty Cool. The themed face masks are a nice touch.
