Hot Rods help identifying ford top irons

anybody know what yr and model ford theses top irons will fit......
29 open car ford ?

 

I'm guessing 31 Ford deluxe roadster, BUT 32 is similar. Unfolded might help.
I think mine had a number cast in to the front corner top socket.

 

They sort of look like Ford `30-`31 deluxe or `32 , but you can tell they have been chopped, since there isn't as much length as there should be below where the wood ends on the rear upright. `28 through `31 standard roadster top irons were formed tubular, not made from flat stock like your photo. As "hotrodA" said there should be a number cast into the front corner brackets. That is how you can tell if they are `32 or `30-`31 deluxe.

What XIX32 said. Here a pic of mine chopped 3", with the wood shortened the same.

 

Both '30-'31 and '32 Fords have two wood bows and a wood header.

 

I could take a set of 30-31 Deluxe bows off the rack to check things. I think your set is missing one bow. Bob

 

Not 68A or 68B Cabriolet....wish it were....looking for 1 piece........

 

These are '30-'31 Deluxe top irons. Standard roadster's are different.

 

Yep, definitely missing the support arms for the middle bow.
