Shoebox Ford gauge upgrade

    The build of your vintage project involves many challenges not the least of which is the dashboard treatment... there are many choices ....OEM , aftermarket, etc..
    We decided to take a shot at retrofitting the Tbird instruments into the OEM housing...

    Sure...what would you like to see... I posted some stuff for heat/ac conversion...and a slick in dash stereo conversion which l have not yet posted....

    More details about the source of the "T-Bird" instruments would be a nice start. Also mods required to mount it. "The Devil Is In The Details".......

    The gauges are mounted in 1/8 inch sign material in the original housing. the speedo is an 85mm GPS model ( as the T5 trans I have has an electronic sender), the fuel and oil gauges are 2", and the indicator lights were purchased off Ebay.
