Technical Speedway name brand intake?

Has anyone delt with the speedway brand flathead intake. It’s so much cheaper than any other intake on the market. Does it perform well, and is the generator able to stay in the stock location?

You know that this manifold is made in China right? There a pleanty of nice used flathead manifolds out there that you should be able to find at a right price. It says in the Speedway description that the generator will not mount in the stock location.

 

I’m aware. I was just wondering if anyone has ever delt with it. And I wasn’t sure if a different carb would make a difference with the clearance between the gen and carb bowl

For all of the "PURE" folks out there - check the tag in your drawers & sneakers .
If they say made in the USA, you get a gold star.

 

Not exactly sure what the relationship between Offy and Speedway is these days, but the Speedway brand SBC intakes appear to be exactly like the Offy intakes for less money. However, haters got to hate!

Different carbs do make a difference as they are different sizes but end of the day I’d call/email and ask. They’ve always answered any question I’ve ever had and. Ever had any pressure to buy what I was asking about
