At the risk of being over posted, here's a few pic's of a '41 Pontiac Woody Wheel for the new members who have not seen all the "wheel threads"................................
I got this wheel at Speedway in 1975 for $75.00. They claimed it is a real Bell Wheel. I had it on a roadster I built from 74 to 76 and took it off 6 years later. Then I put it on another roadster I built in 94. It has the little ribs in the rubber part of the spoke.
bought this wheel 43 years ago for my first car. loaned it to a buddy 33 years ago so he could move a car around, then he sold the car with my wheel in it... I don't remember how I got it back. got it hanging on the wall now 1961 Dodge Dart Seneca.
great wheels! One of my first two steering wheel restorations that I am learning on this one was a really far gone ‘46 super deluxe that has come along nicely to primer so far You can see more progress photos of it and the ‘next in line’ ‘49 mercury meteor wheel on my car build thread if you wish https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/modern-greenhorn’s-‘28-coupe-build.1160818/ cheers, Ron
