cool, start a build thread! I am in you neck of the woods and have some buicks too. This 1939 coupe I picked up last year as a project. Same deal was all in pieces, this was in the middle of putting things together to see what may have been missing. If you decide to sell the 40 buick coupe let me know.

TJ Picked up the Buick yesterday...the best body I've ever seen...not a spec of rust...Thanks Barry.......and in my garage...
Your Buick is the same body as my pontiac (different front end). They are big with lots of room and nice ride. Build it low buck and enjoy for now, later when you have time and money go ahead and do the Jim Bailey treatment. I love his car.
hey hey Bill , yes , always wanted one of these..I have a couple of projects going. May pass it on, not sure yet..I inventoried the car and all the important stuff is there..No motor , seats..other wise seems complete..Make a great low buck street rod...Always liked the 39 Pontiac grille....What you running , drive it alot ???
i am running a abc with a th 350 and a 79 trans am rear end (3.08). It loves to run down the road at 70 75 mph. I have over 20k miles on it in low buck form, can’t find the time to finish it right
J.A , it's a Series 50 , the bigger body. .Shared by Caddy and Olds...The knee action upper control arms are rebuilt , all new stainless brake lines , brakes done..great start for sure
, laid on the extra hood to get a feel of the length of the nose....those white wall were new...still look good , no checking or cracks..the whitewalss are the add on type when you mount the tires..Portawalls if i remember..
while i was at the garage took a pic of my 49...freshened it up a bit recently, thats a crate 350 , 2 5/8 headers . non egr intake and a 600 Holley..car has a eaton 373 10 bolt , moser axles , and it pulls hard , chirps tire in second gear... View attachment 4438454
