I'm with you..........now. Being a hiboy guy for many years not to mention also being biased towards chopped 3W's kind of allowed me to have blinders on, don't get me wrong, I do dig chopped fivers but there is just something about an uncut deuce 5W, especially when they have a perfect stance like this one.
There,s nothing wrong with both looks in my opinion. It , s a primered 32 five window with Americans.... What, s not to like?
The fenders look great, but I’m not sure about the geezer that drives that car... you sure you aren’t ready for a Cadillac or Oldsmobile? Isn’t that what all the old farts are driving these days?

Looks like your frontend could use some attention in the alignment department. I like the fendered look too.
I’ll be the lone dissenter here. The new look is good,,,,but I just love the look of a hot rod without a hood. Sorry,,,just my personal preference. Tommy
