Technical Caddy 390

just picked up a 60 Coupe DeVille....intend on running the 390...but want a cool serpentine setup like March or ?....the only thing i find listed is for the 425/472/500....does anyone have the secret

I don't think there is a correct forum for a Serpentine set up

 

youre right there's not...but at least the car fits better in the custom forum ....but while youre here, do you have any suggestions for a cool serpentine setup on a 60 390?

 

Honestly I only know I've seen them for Chevy and Ford, Dodge, etc...family of engines that can cross over. But I bet if you were to go to Summit, etc, find something for a SBC, then find the manufacturer, then contact them. Might take some digging, but you may find a place that makes a set up for your engine, or a place that does custom work.

That said, I'd be looking into what available in the wrecking yards, see what I could use, what's parts I could scrounge and adapt to homemade brackets, etc.

The more accessories, the more you'll need to scrounge.

 

Now where do you think you can find a reverse rotation water pump?
