He has been a DJ since 1967. I’m sure most of you Kustom Guys know Jonnie from his postings here and his Legends Rod & Custom Hall of Fame Series website. Here he is posing in front of my car at the St. Ann Car Show which was part of the weekend festivities. Also a photo of him in the parade.

I want to thank my brother (S/S Cat on the HAMB) for attending my show. He bought his 57 Poncho this Summer and has been working the chassis and some other minor details to attend this show. He traveled over 200 miles. Great Car Scott. That's Scott's Bald Head sitting behind his car. 71138980_3525712014109332_8772902084300242944_n.jpg

Johnny loves those 'Tin Indians', so do I.
In the Santa Clara/ San Jose cities (S.F. Bay Area, CA.) there was a 'loosely formed club' of Pontiacs, mostly '55-'58, all dubbed 'Tin Indian # 1' thru 'Tin Indian #54', mostly printed on rear fin or front fender, 3" tall letters...
This was from '57 thru '62, lots of interest in those cars then.
The Super Stock Pontiacs ruled the Drags...

Johnnie likes all cars, Especially if they're custom. This is his 61 Invicta. He also has a 57 Dodge Royal Lancer. 61 Invicta (Jonnie King).jpg

Very Famous Street Freak Car. The guy that owns it bought new. Raced it at Alton Dragway first couple years of ownership. Like it or not, there is much engineering and fab work that went into this Goat and the owner did it all himself. Les is a great guy.

Well, he is standing up and alive, that's good. Sort of a mystery why he abandoned his Feb. 3, 1959 thread:
We have enjoyed his contributions here, for sure! We miss you Jonnie!

His 57 Dodge is a D-500. All black w/ red interior. It is an original paint Arizona car. Sorry I don't have photos of it.
