Brought some test equipment along for the ride in the Hudson today. The tach shows 2500 rpm at 62 mph, in overdrive. Not too bad, for 4.56 rear gears.

 

...one thing that really intrigues me is the shadow of the headlight mesh cast onto the road at night by the light shining through it...last night I captured it...

Not all you captured... looks like you got a dragonfly and a few bugs and beetles too.

 

Yesterday at car show!

 

Yeah it's not a bug friendly Hotrod at all...I end up with all kinds of bug parts scattered all over the flat front (many that I wish I didn't) and even end up with some on me after it's all said and done...glad there's a windshield...

Really nice photos, especially that top one with the view of the speedometer, and the greens and blues in the sky & fields ahead, just beautiful. One of the best in this whole thread.

 

Along for the ride... sometimes it's just good to relax, drink a beer, let your buddy take his ride and have him do the drving.
