Uncle Tony on youtube has a great video about the OHC V8's in the late 60's by the big 3. Very interesting. Especially Pontiac.

And if you are into models, the 1/25th scale AMT 1970 Dodge Coronet Pro Street kit has the DOHC Hemi as an optional build.......the DOHC stuff is only in the Pro Street kit, not the stock 1970 Coronet kit and is in every reissue of the Pro Street kit......andyd
& then there's the Aug '57 MOTOR TREND cover pic n 1pg article(p 42) on "Chrysler 500hp 4-cam v8", w/4 carbs(97's?). Based on on a '53 hemi, '55 heads - modified for 2 cams each. 7k rpm. Gear drive to the intake cams, exh cams run w/chain from int cams. Was going to all gear drive. Builders' name was Bill(Bob) Gillelan. Was 10 month long project at article time. Looks like he worked in Moldex Tool Shop in Detroit, & balancing was done by Leo's Custom Racing Engines. No pics due to my trouble w/posting pics/scans. Sorry. Marcus...
I read in the past that this motor couldn't run under it's own power.... Not sure if it's true or not..... More info needed please...... Inquiring minds like mine would love to know!!!!...
