I own a '35 PJ businessman's coupe, meaning it has a trunk but no rumble seat. Many gear heads assume my coupe is chopped, but it's not.

There has indeed been progress lately. At the moment the car is in a shop in Holland (fixing stuff for reliability and road worthyness... yes there were big issues ‍♂️).
Interior is in the making and somewhere in September it’s finally getting to paint. Chrome will be ready by September as well and if all goes well the car will be ready by the end of the year [IMG]

Very nice. Have you made up decision about the colour of the paint?
With a brown interior you can fit lots of colours.

Some update . Sorry for the still black and white photo but you can have an idea already. Now the car is at my buddy Art’s place for further assembly of the puzzle. Stay tuned

Thanks TPP for this thread. Back in '62 my wife brother gave me a cherry a bone stock 35 Plymouth coupe. I was just out of the Air Force, new baby and one on the way. I had great plans for it but to much "life" took precedence and I ended up giving it away 10 years later. I always wondered what it would have been and although it would never be what you have created, it gives me an idea what it could have close to. I'm a "see the wheels/tires guy," so my choice would have been no skirts and I would have stayed with the stock grill but the chop and lowering would have been close to the same.
    Sweet piece.
