I'm starting this project and thought I would share my build... I found some old gold metal flake on these rails... seems to have been from a circle track car.... they were rough but salvageable... 32 rails with model a front and rear cross members... stock 32 k member... 32 pedals... 32 I beam with 32 wishbones... reversed eye old chrome model a spring... model a rear spring with 39 rear... shortened torque tube to 39 top loader... 39 motor with duel carb intake... I found a deuce radiator at a swap meet here in town that should cool it down... I have been waiting for a long time for this Christmas break... our company shuts down for the week between the Holiday's.... between all of the holiday running around I was able to sneak away to the garage for a bit to work on the roadster.... along way to go yet but here she is... nothing better than firing up the heater and building a roadster while the snow falls outside during Christmas time.... 12. You have some good bones there sir. I assume you're running a v-8, which I think is a great idea. I applaud you for your perseverance and dedication, in the middle of the holiday season yet, great job. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Haha... I was thinking the same thing when I took the picture.... good ole ralphy boy... I'm tight on space here in my garage so the body had to sit out back till I was ready... my coupe hasn't seen snow in 15 years... I had to shove it outside so I could work on the roadster... let me tell you that old girl gave a couple of god awful groans when I tried to fire her back up to go back in the garage... I felt bad shoving her out in the snow so I pushed her back in.... 50472568207__59387680-F894-408B-94B8-96605A6A29B0.JPG

This chassis was just two rails when I got them.... they were sitting in a pile ready to be scrapped... IMG_1483140609.686325.jpg
