  11. 4-1/2" is perfect. And also Black. mine back in the 70's also 4-1/2". Enjoy that A and helper!:cool:

    Beautiful job! Only people that have actually painted a car black understand how difficult it is to paint a car black and have it come out like yours.

    What’s a paint booth

    Sprayed it inside our shop with several
    drop cloths to keep bugs out and paint off other projects.

    The engine is a ‘56 322 from a wagon. The wagon was so far gone it wasn’t salvaged. The engine, however, was in fantastic shape. To my knowledge it has never been rebuilt. I do plan to rebuild it at some point. She’s got a little blow by that’s developed a couple years ago.
