Model a sedan delivery conversion kits?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by sfm1951, May 11, 2012.

  1. Anybody know of a conversion kit to turn a 29 Model A sedan into a sedan delivery other than Gibbon Fiberglass or Spirit Industries? Thanks, Steve

  2. Anyone?!?!

    I'm asking as well.....

  3. those are the only two that i know of. & I don't even think they're doing it anymore. I knew there were some differences in the body (between tudor, & delivery) but, when i bought a delivery at an auction, i was educated on the many differences

  4. Has anyone built their own? I have 31 Tudor and the idea of having a rear door is intriguing!!!

  5. Shouldn't be hard to fab one.Build the interior frame out of metal,or wood the way Chevy did.Carefully cut the rear door from the rear skin.Build a door frame from tubing,or wood like Chevy did.Should keep ya out of trouble this winter...…...

A guy here has a tudor that was cut so that he has a tailgate and a liftgate, like a station wagon
