   ...Fixed...;)

  6. Ted, I think it looks great with the Moon discs, but I like it just a bit more with the small spinner caps. Maybe 'cuz I'm used to seeing it that way. Definitely no scavenger pipes. Mark's Deuce looks great with those moon discs, too!

Corvette in background looks like '56 or '57; appears to have single headlamps, '58 started the dual headlamps.

Big Deuce thanks yes I realized the Vette was older I was referring to era and it's funny I was thinking it may read incorrectly and low and behold...I should have written what I was trying to convey in an easier to understand format...its an interesting shot...

Yeah I'm sure you're not alone but many probably only saw the back end trying to catch up...:D...there are angles that are complimentary...that's what might be tugging at your taste buds even though it's not enough to call it a win in your books.

Stogy, the good times louver press is a copy of the old GM louver press, except the GM is round tubing.i have a GM press i bought from a junk yard in 1974, it came with the orig. instruction book [1958] and i called the guy at GOOD TIMES AND I SENT HIM A COPY AND HE SAID HE WOULD USE IT. don't kno if he did. mine was a hand pump, after about 400 louvers in a 51 merc hood [8 hrs,] i put on a air hyd pump. wish i had put on an elect hyd. pump like yours. still have mine HAPPY LOUVERING

Stogy, NO not as in general motors, was a company in calafornia that was GM manufactoring or somthing like that. if i can find the brochure i will post it. i had seen the press i got at the 1958 Sebring race they were louvering a 57 FORD hood , amazing i found the same press in a junk yard in west palm beach 16 years later. I bought a new 1961 ford hipo starliner and tryed to find who had the press to get my hood louvered, never found who it was.
, now i got it. Never give up....

I'll take the pic at face value till we figure out who and when and when we find out I'll like it just as much...the inspiration stays the same...All I'd add is whoever owns it done it justice and is fortunate to call it their own...
