OK/ I just ripped this off from Dan Greenberg,s Bonneville picture thread a much better picture of the Bel Alpine. I think this car is too cool. It's a Sports Car. It's a Hot Rod. And it's a Custom. Roy Liuataud and family are doing The kind of thing that was done in the late fftys

Saw this 283 powered Healey special at the Monterey Rolex Reunion. Car was converted in the '50s.

 

Several people out here seem to like the Kellison coupe as a drag racer. This ad just popped up in Facebook (Salem, MA). I have no previous knowledge of this car; if I could afford more storage space, I'd be looking into it!

Great to see the Cro-Sal! I worked with Gene Crowe at Newman-Sharp Racing and knew Salyer's son in the Midwestern racing community in the late 70s /early 80s. Gene was a great all-around racing mechanic, a top-level engine builder, and a great mentor to all of us at NSR.
