    When you get a hold of him/her/it/both/neither, ask about that upper alt mount...and send him/her/it/both/neither a can of engine paint.

  3. The alternator mount looks like a standard item, or aftermarket, with a home made extension so it would be long enough.

    That alternator mount should have a lower bracket...at least 350 Chevys do. Without it you put to much stress on the crankshaft damper and eventually it will shear the key way off the crankshaft and leave you stranded in bum fuck wherever....don't ask me how I know.
