Ok, I'm trying to get the back of my car straightened out. I need some advice. I don't have a deck lid the car was originally a rumble seat car and I have part of the rumble lid but it's been chopped off. The op also removed the metal below the rumble lid so there's a large opening. 20190903_110618.jpg I have a fiberglass inner trunk structure, not sure how to go about doing this , can I skin this with sheet metal ? Any help appreciated 20190903_083153.jpg

Interesting. May try panel bond like auto manufacturers and body shops do on newer cars.

You can get 3m panel bond in several working times. That is what I would recommend. Build a fixture out of wood to support metal outer so you don't have a twisted mess when your done.

What kind of car is that? On Model As, the rumble and trunk lid are the same

I used a brake to do the right and left side then shrunk them down by hand with hammer and dolly, until I got the right shape
