Just set up a very unprofessional mock up of the seats and center console for my Dodge truck. Will make a console top to match the seat pads once I finally decide on a color for the truck.
The time off has allowed me to work on the truck. Getting close but I would rather be working and the world safe.
The engine is not in the cab that is the console. Great story I was going through Carlisle several years ago and I came across this booth with all kinds of blowers, scoops and racing parts. I asked the Gentleman if he had any blowers that he could sale me cheap as I wanted to use one for a console. Wow here the guy was one of the Funny Car Racers from way back. He had a couple of photo books showing his cars and places he raced at. Just a great guy but unfortunately I didn't get his name. I remember the face but not the name. He was fairly old about 5-10 and I beleive a beard of sorts. And he sold me this blower cheap because he said the inside is scarred from racing. I bought the scoop on the HAMB from a Hamber in Oregon.
The truck looks great....LOVE the hood ornament...whats that off of?....if we ever have Spring Carlisle stop by and say Hi... I will be in spaces L1-2-3
Finished up the front plate today. Alot of work went into this . Cut out the letters and surround with a jigsaw and welded the letters on.
Man, that is different. I like it. What's the driver's seatbelt (shoulder, 4-point?) and is it mounted to or through the top of the seat back?
