The Lane is a must-see. The microcar/cyclecar collection is like this thread in 3D.

And the best pizza joint in the universe is just up the hill from it. Line was around the building and it was well worth the wait.

DSCF3344.JPG Another Ballot ( NOT a Cyclecar, but that is just a technicality ) Freshly RErestored by the Collier Collection, once in the Briggs Cunningham collection. Brush painted just as it was in the INDY garage days before the 500 in 1919. Looked great at Pebble Beach a few weeks ago. Bob

Anything Peugeot before they had the 0 in their model number is nearly impossible to find even in France, time wasn't kind with this brand and it's wooden structure, weird thing is that Renault had a wooden body frame work also but they are easier to come by, even weirder is that until 1926 Peugeot was number 1 producing 1/2 of the cars sold in France, but nowadays good luck finding one.

JAP's were very popular in that class too. Great poor man's racing.

I'd love to see more of that single seat white and blue sports racer.

... something more "normal", or closer to the original?

    Ciao,
    Zoran
P.S.: Couldn't they build their own creations of carrosserie for dragsters?
P.P.S.: For Dodge (the full-size version is a re-creation of sport/racing Messerschmitt), one cute model:

With the horizontal manifold, it looks like a carb for a vertical twin with separate cylinders. More likely a stationary engine than a cyclecar.

That racer is a bit of an odd duck. It appears to be a replica Tg500 with a replica of the cowling from the KR200 Super LSR car. The KR200 Super was built in 1955 to break the 24 hour record for 250cc trikes, which it did. FMR/Messerschmidt didn't try to break records when they launched the 4-wheeled Tg500. Willi Messerschmidt has been quoted as saying the record run "certainly did not result in increased orders."
The original record-breaker is said to survive in the Deutsches Museum in Munich.

I bet the Trials car would increase sales. It sure helped Morgan even though they weren't too good at it.
