Here's some on my old sedan;I picked them up at a flea market, new in the box for $40. I thought they kind of filled in the front end a little, and kind of looked like quad headlights ( kind of).All right ,I HAD to buy them for that price, and this is where they ended up.(I also had four tail lights-I've got this problem.....)

Grandfathers & Fathers cars 006.jpg C9,-----Fog lights were used on a large number of stockers in the 1940's & '50's, but from my old memory at 81, I don't recall seeing any mounted on hot rods or customs back then. Maybe on restored antiques tho.
I remember my dad had them on our 1949 Buick, it was always foggy in the Inglewood,Ca.area.

Just picked up this cool old KD red lens. Thinking about using it as a third brakelight for them tailgating fools! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1415253765.355335.jpg

Mine is a KD as well. The foggy mornings on the way to work made it a necessity as my 29 is a daily driver.

all the old cars I had with one light had them on the passenger side. I guess to shine on the " fog line".

  24. If they are real cool, I guess I made a mistake . When I bought my 40 Ford Coupe, the first thing did was I took the fog lights off and sold them.

If it aint got'em...It aint mine! FOG.jpg
56 is still in progress...It'll be above or below the bumper...Probably 2 of'em.

  26. Technically, fat fenders aren't hot rods it could be argued, but they do seem to have just right bumpers for sportin' foglights.
I just sold this one and have replaced it with another AD truck which doesn't have any at the moment. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for some, though.

  27. I bought a 5" fog light for that same reason, unfortunately it looks way too small in the bullet hole.
Does somebody make a 7" amber fog light?

  28. Always liked the look of a single amber fog light. Something different from the norm. Just picked this one up for a song. All original, never installed, perfect chrome, still has the light, wiring, bracket, switch and instruction sheet in the original box. Will find it's way onto the RPU project someday.
