Don,you got that right! A couple of years ago on the All Deuce Run we were talking about my Deuce pickup and he tried it own for size,,I'm 6'4" tall and Henry is,,let's be nice and say height challenged! Henry looks like a kid sitting in my truck..BTW,He is building a cool '32 pickup now. HRP
Here's some on my old sedan;I picked them up at a flea market, new in the box for $40. I thought they kind of filled in the front end a little, and kind of looked like quad headlights ( kind of).All right ,I HAD to buy them for that price, and this is where they ended up.(I also had four tail lights-I've got this problem.....)
C9,-----Fog lights were used on a large number of stockers in the 1940's & '50's, but from my old memory at 81, I don't recall seeing any mounted on hot rods or customs back then. Maybe on restored antiques tho. I remember my dad had them on our 1949 Buick, it was always foggy in the Inglewood,Ca.area.
Just picked up this cool old KD red lens. Thinking about using it as a third brakelight for them tailgating fools! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Mine is a KD as well. The foggy mornings on the way to work made it a necessity as my 29 is a daily driver. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

I've always wondered why guys put 1 or 2 fog lights on there beautiful uncluttered Hot Rod. Can someone tell me?
Here 's mine, they were on it when I got it,I will probably make turn signals out of them over the winter.
all the old cars I had with one light had them on the passenger side. I guess to shine on the " fog line".
my 1956 olds ( avatar ) have yellow fog lights since i bought the car .. i don't like that .. fortunatly 2 weeks ago , i hurted a fog light with my motorbike in the garage.. so , now i must remove the fog lights.....
If they are real cool, I guess I made a mistake . When I bought my 40 Ford Coupe, the first thing did was I took the fog lights off and sold them.
If it aint got'em...It aint mine! 56 is still in progress...It'll be above or below the bumper...Probably 2 of'em.
Technically, fat fenders aren't hot rods it could be argued, but they do seem to have just right bumpers for sportin' foglights. I just sold this one and have replaced it with another AD truck which doesn't have any at the moment. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for some, though.
I bought a 5" fog light for that same reason, unfortunately it looks way too small in the bullet hole. Does somebody make a 7" amber fog light?
Always liked the look of a single amber fog light. Something different from the norm. Just picked this one up for a song. All original, never installed, perfect chrome, still has the light, wiring, bracket, switch and instruction sheet in the original box. Will find it's way onto the RPU project someday.
