Now a white Hurst, with a button for the reverse lockout.

I had to replace reverse on the rebuild. Old habits die really hard, and reverse is where top gear is on most OD boxes.

  4. 8-ball that came from my dad's tavern in 1972 that I drilled and tapped.
He gave it to me for my then 1966 GTO.
Had it on a lot of cars over the years.

A buddy of mine, Lonnie Gilbertson, had a friends 55 Chevy in his shop for some work. The guy was anal about having the correct white 4 speed knob. Lonnie being the practical joker he is, sent one of his employees down the street to a bowling alley to buy the biggest used bowling ball they had. Lonnie promptly drilled and tapped it to to fit the shift handle on the 55, with the finger holes in the proper orientation. That's Lonnie for you !

My 47 Ford has an amber Toad.

The interior was customized in 1968, so I would imagin the Toad has been banging gears that long, the wife thinks it's gross, bonus points.

Running a clay 5-ball from the 20's. about 1 3/4" diameter, so smaller than a regulation pool ball.

This is a vintage house door knob I bought at a antique show. I told the seller what my plans were for it. He laughed and said he had a new market for his collection now.
I've never seen another like it. 20190905_191320.jpeg

Not a skull guy myself but picked this up at Dollar Tree today for yes, a dollar, thought it looked pretty nice. Black chrome ceramic, hollow with a hole in the bottom. Fill it with bondo, smoosh a nut in there.. They had white also.
