Event Coverage Ventura Nationals 2019

Had not heard much lately about the show and was wondering if there was lack of interest in it. I decided to go and see it anyway. Thankfully it seems alive and well, infact I think it was better than last year in cars and people. Took some photos for you guys.

 

Thanks for posting the photos. You never know with a labor day weekend event. Too many distractions for a lot of folks.

Haven’t missed a single one in the 17 or 18 years it’s been going. I agree with you that it was a great turn out this year. Seems to have ebbs and flows but it was hopping this year for sure. Downtown was a great time Friday night too with all the cars cruising up n down Main. Thanks for the pics

Here’s a few pics of the Sunday gathering at Noble Fab after the reliability run.

 

It definitely had more cars this year than last. My wife and I took the truck out and had a fun day. We also went to town on Friday night and had dinner and watched everyone cruising. It was a good time.

Brian, No, I said your car was Cool. Period. I especially liked the Pontiac engine. Then I said I would have to wash it if it were mine. Because I love to polish things. But I certainly never said, and hope I didn't imply, that you needed to clean your car. I'd never tell another hot rodder what he needed to do, or not do, to his(or her) own car.

this year's turnout was way bigger than last year, more cars and more people.
friday night's cruising the strip downtown was awesome, TONS of people and cars there too.

No worries pat,I DO need to wash my car.its been a while .gonna have a detail guy come to my shop and make it shine again soon.and buy a good car cover as I dont have a garage

Someone has no shame about those trailor Queens, as a matter of fact looks like a pretty nice trailor/stage they are on with a show rig pulling em. Guess if ya got it, go for it! someone had to do it

 

Enjoyed all the pictures! Maybe not the more door Binder truck not so much, that sucker is UGLY!!

Looks like a good show, sorry I missed it. I saw a couple of cars I recognize from So Cal in the pics. Is the show more custom oriented, or is that just a reflection of the interest of the guys taking the pics?
