    Here's a project I'm trying to get back to original condition somewhat. 20190830_130750.jpg 20190828_112020.jpg 20190828_110517.jpg 20190826_125930.jpg 20190817_090225.jpg 20190816_074100.jpg 20190809_130535.jpg 20190812_114917.jpg 20190816_073442.jpg

Looks pretty good from my couch. Find a decent grille and you're half way there.

It has a 6-7 inch channel so I am going to unchannel and get back to normal and restore it

I agree it sits pretty nice.

  8. I need to see better photos. I would keep it a hot rod.

Why would you post a restoration on a hot rod/custom site? Or are you saying goodbye to the channel and putting your own touches on it?

To me it looks like it has a newer frame under it so it might be alot of work to raise it back up if it was severely cut.

in my 38 I used a bench seat, had to russel up my own.seat base from a Seat and home made seat back with 2"foam.moved the throttle pedal to the right and used the original column and wheel.a 1/2" here and a 1/2" there.it all adds up.nearly there now I will have another go at the seat back.last time I covered 3/4 plywood, next time I will use 2mm aluminium so theres another 5/8 to be got there.
