A group of us from Switzerland, with a 30s track car and a 1923 Indian, drove up to Rømø in Denmark for the beach races, a first for me, but I’ll definitely be going again. It’s about 1250 miles there and back, but worth every inch of it, cool cars, friendly people, a lot laughs. The photos are just from my mobile of the the pit area These taken in the morning, before racing started and the crowds arrived. Paul Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Thanks for posting. I just heard about this a month ago. Seems very similar to TROG. But a lot more people. For those who don’t know. this show is Invite only for the racers. Look up @romo_motor_festival
Thanks @skip65...I'd say you All Nailed 1948...Great Stuff Looks like the Weather was Spot On as well...more pics please...
@abe lugo as far as I know, it’s not invite only. You just fill out an entry form, but you have to be early as there are only so many places, and your car/bike has to comply with their rules. It’s a great event, I got the feeling, it’s put on by racers for racers. As the beach is a public place the spectators entry is free, and there was a lot of them Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Darken up the boy's with some sunlight, white tee's with cig's rolled up in a sleeve and white sneaker's with no socks and it would look like SoCo and the salt flats back in the '50's! Nice pic's!
