Very rare B-W fuelie intake for a 409 chevy motor.... I got more pics stashed away somewhere on this phone.... I'll post those when I find them.....

 

Never seen the moon crater golf ball effect before.
Also look at the carb pad, it looks slanted left to right like you would normally see front to rear.

 

Borg Warner may have built the fuel injection system but look close, that "snowflake" cast into the intake manifold is the logo for Winters Foundry.

Forced induction is pretty forgiving about carb placement. The carbs are just bolted to a manifold wherever the builder could fit them, which then dumps atomized fuel through those tubes into the inlet of the supercharger. The Latham has a side inlet near the front, so the tubes converge there.
