Planning on going to either Hershey or Fall Carlisle in October but not sure which one is the best for Hot Rod stuff and vintage speed parts. Can anyone give me the low down in the differences between the two shows?

Hershey for vintage stuff, I use to do both but I stopped going to Carlisle about 10 years ago, seamed the 50's and earlier parts were drying up, and some of the venders with vintage parts do both shows anyway. If you can only do one show Hershey is a must see! IMHO

I have been to both of these several times. Hershey is by far the best one in my opinion. Be prepared to spend several days of walking.

Yeah Hershey hands down. Carlisle for muscle car parts, Chinese tools and little diecast cars.

We will do Carlisle then to TROG and back to finish at Hershey. have done Carlisle before and all we heard before we went was the horrible hill, darn the hill was a mere bump in the earth .

I worked both shows for years. Always look forward to Hershey. More vintage parts a more relaxed atmosphere and the people were generally very nice. I enjoyed the flea market but the car show itself was my favorite. I will be in Italy this year so I'll miss this years Hershey

Make sure you get all the Trog sand out of your shoes before you start all that walking at Hershey!

If you are going to Hershey forget Saturday for the flea market. Most vendors pull out Friday at noon. The best day for the flea market is Thursday
