Technical How to 29 Tudor rear windows go all the way down

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Fiftee3, Aug 31, 2019.

  1. Rear windows stop about 4” from top. Is there a stop inside panel? Is there a way to make them go all the way down? Thanks...

I think the rear wheel well has something to do with it.
Have you looked inside to see what causes the problem?

Chop the top 4" – they'll close then.

On my 32 sedan the wheel wells prevent it from going all the way down.
I guess you could do a radical chop so the windows are short, then they would go all the way down.;):p

My rear quarter windows go all the way down. Just like front door, on my 29.
    Nothing stopping mine.

There you go. Wonder if there were different regulators or something. Thanks for posting.
