Someone gave him the Gauge panel - that's all I'll say.........

 

Project is moving fairy rapidly.
I'm not sure the rear end torque arm will function correctly in its current configuration, and will probably break the adjacent trailing arm. I believe the pivot points should all be on the same rotational axis, both on the front and rear, similar to a 4 bar setup.

 

Been running one on my 28 coupe for 12 years no problem.

 

WOW, that torque arm is a BEAST! I like it!

Putting driveshaft in shop today to get cut down.

 

Got shifter installed, stick will be changed to a 39 stick.

 

I’ve started cutting the F1 pedals and changing them up to my liking. Still not there yet.

 

Driveshaft done.

 

Clutch linkage done.

 

Whacked out these weld on brackets for the flexible brake lines , I used 5/8 E clips to hold them in place. I did the easy one first. Maybe the front two before weekend is up.

 

Brakes are adjusted and bled with a good pedal.

 

So, for the people that have been following this build , you know I spent a day reversing the eyes on the stock springs . The front spring hit spring perches as soon as I set motor and trans in place, took out and re-arched more to no avail. So I called my bud Nostalgia Sid and had a Posies super slider in 3 days. Will install soon.

 

Lots of nice work that no one sees or appreciates.

 

Less than 3 weeks to Pistons and Paint !! Gonna' make it, with the RPU ? Hope so ...

This was delivered Friday. Any mounting advice? Gonna run original shell and full hood.
