Hello, I have a 1959 235(I6) and am replacing the stock filter with a beehive style filter. Where does the inlet and outlet of the filter get plumbed to on the engine block? The inlet/outlet ports on the old filter weren’t labeled so I’m not sure which went where, the new filter says the inlet is the bottom port of the beehive and the outlet is the top port. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Pressure side is low on the left rear side of the block. The return is just about in the center of the left side, high below the exhaust manifold.
Isn't the later 235 set up like the 261 with 1/2 inch ports and the pin that you push in to go from bypass to full pressure.
