Did a bit of searching and didn't see much relating to United Pacific deuce bumpers. Any first hand experience using them out there? Any other brand/supplier you have been pleased with? Thanks in advance!

  2. I have a very cherry rear with brackets for sale if interested, PM me if you are

I don’t have bumpers for my sedan but I’ll comment on repro bumpers that I’ve seen. Original ‘32 bumpers have a gentle curve to them that is visible between the bumper bolts and repro’s are straight. If the UP bumpers have that detail then they are correct.
I’ll be checking them out and if they have it I’ll be a buyer.

Many times listed original '32 Ford bumpers are reproductions. The center end knuckles on a repro have a forming washer needed to make the radius. It can be felt with a finger. Originals do not have the washer and you can easily feel the inside to the center knuckle. Even originals can vary in the shape of the end knuckles, some have a very large radius and others have much less. As was stated above the originals have a slight curve outward but seems none are exactly the same shape.

The few repros I have picked up are MUCH lighter than original bumpers...the repros are shiny trim strips, not bumpers! Doesn't matter much, since 32 grills and decklids are cheap and easy to replace...

Not when a deuce grill was $15 at the junkyard!

  11. yes, the 1932 Ford bumper ends were different, early verses late production.
