  3. I got mine from Speedway Motors and I highly doubt Speedy Bill was related to ether Dean or his cousin. :D but they were the genuine screw on Moon Disc. HRP

I was always a Baby Moon kid, I still like them, bought a Moon disc set from a buddy back in 60's, put them on a 51 Ford I had at the time, flat black car, Put them on, liked the look, drove car and had 2 fall off/junked, sold remaining 2 and went back to baby moons. I don't remember them having holes for screws, set was probably for a different wheel I thought at the time. IMO they look good on certain cars, have not seen any around here Wisconsin/Midwest for many years now. Back in the day 60's JC Whitney set of 4 baby moons thinking around $6/$8, including shipping.

I say just keep posting! :D

Seriously, you always have good input anyway, but it really wouldn't matter if you didn't, I'd still like to see your posts! It's not like your last avatar was bad either, but this new gravity defying pic is t*ts! :D Those things could poke an eye out!

I think they work well on the coupe, maybe even better; but I much prefer the wires on the roadster.

I like them on my Sedan. It gave it an attitude adjustment.

Gotta admit I never was a fan, but they do look killer on some of the cars posted! Other than that, they'd make damn good long distance targets!:D

    Hello,

My brother had a pale yellow 1951 Olds with some Moon Discs. He kept that Yellow color until a couple of months prior (he painted it a Lime Green) to his purchase of the new 58 black Impala. At the same time, our dad bought his new 1957 blue Buick Roadmaster. Just before my brother sold the 51 Olds, we took off a couple of discs and taped them on our dad’s big blue Buick sedan. It was something to see, but we knew our dad would not like the discs.

We had to see what the old folk’s car would look like, with some spiffy Moon Discs instead of those huge stock hubcaps. Our dad never saw the Buick transformation as he was taking an “old guy” nap on his day off.

Perhaps @themoose could do one of his wonderful magic transformations of my dad's dark blue 57 Buick with Moon Discs… On thus light blue 1957 Buick Roadmaster

    Hey M,
As always, an excellent art work image... Thanks for that cool depiction... My dad would have been happy, but confused, by his two teenage sons with that set up. We always wondered what that big Buick would look like with those cool Moon Discs.

    Thank you,

    Jnaki

Do you know why snap-on "Moon" discs look phony? Because they are.

I was gonna velcro a set on my Drag Stars to get into Billet-Proof one time, but never did. Never liked Billet-Proof.

  28. If I see a car drive by that has Moon disks on it, I can't tell if the wheels are turning or not.
But then, I'm easily confused.

My 36 came with them. Wasn’t sure at first but they grew on me. Unfortunately I outgrew the truck. My third one but much younger and trimmer when I had the first two.
