26/27 T Roadsters On Model A Frames Photo Thread

  1. That thing is freaking sweet! the proportions are spot on. really looks killer!.

Im with you on the space is a premium on a T. The only reason it crosses my mind is the fact that I have to make all the subrails and floors anyway so if I was to channel it now would be the time. Pedal placement is my biggest concern with it being channeled, like you said it is tight.

  2. this is kind of what I have been invisioning, just wish I had a decent turtle deck to work with. Did you have to chop the A shell down any? It fits perfect and is what I have for the front of parts pile to be a T roadster.

I got a great cowl. I've got nice doors. I just can't find any steel from the doors back!

Hi Woodsie, I follow you on IG and really like the look of your car. I am building a banger powered 27 on A chassis. I see you used a 28-29 radiator shell. did you use the radiator from a 28-29 and have it cut down? I mounted a 28-29 radiator on mine and it looks like it sits a couple inches high. i want to make sure the lines flow smoothly from the cowl down to the top of the grill/radiator. Thanks,
    Scott

Thanks appreciate it. I cut the 28-29 radiator shell down to match the cowl height. If I remember right I think it was 2.5” but not 100% on that. I had a Put a 29 hood on it and just set it to we’re it looked right and then measured the front down to the mounting surface of the radiator and that was my measurement hope this helps.

Thanks! I screwed up and sold a good 28-29 radiator the other day. Could have had that one cut down. Oh well, guess i will look for another one

I just read your post again and seen you were asking about the radiator and not the grill shell. Any way I got a radiator made buy dons radiator from Alberta Canada vary well priced and really nice guy.
