Here's mine. It looked like this when it pulled in the driveway in 2006. The only thing that I had to replace was the hood, the two front fenders, two-door skins, 2 quarters a tail pan , front floors and inner and outer rockers and trunk lid. This entire car had been sandblasted and completely warped. Metal shelving material was riveted over the rust holes and the entire car covered in bondo. It was bright red and shiny and I fell for it .This isn't as much compared to what some of you guys do. I love this car, drives nice, makes me happy. Lesson learned

This 55 Belair belongs to one of my first students from when I started teaching High school auto mechanics
    in 1978.
He bought the car out of Tee-Pee auto Wrecking's stash lot where the good stuff gets stuck away and most people never see or get into.
Car is subframed with a later front end and runs a 454 that he built himself. He did all the work outside of paint and the interior himself and a long time friend and fellow auto shop student painted it for him.
The car was built in a cubbyhole one car basement garage in his house.
This was the first time I had seen it outside of that garage and the car is about as nice as it gets. IMG_7310.JPG IMG_7311.JPG IMG_7312.JPG IMG_7313.JPG

My dads old 57 sold it probably 10 years ago when times got to tough. Dad always had a blast in this car drove it to tulsa for the nationals, Du quoin IL, around the indy 500 all kinds of places. I remember as a kid sleeping on the package tray in the rear window :)

I bought this 57 150 back in 2003 and had it shipped out from CA. I regrettably sold it 6 months later. This past month I was able to buy it back. I sold it without a motor and transmission. Now it has a 383 stroker motor in it with a Muncie 4spd. I had already installed a 9 inch Ford rear the first time I owned it, so the drive-train is pretty much ready to go. Looking forward to starting on this when I finish my Deuce Rdstr. My 57 150 I c.JPG 20191215_125714.jpg

This is a fellow's 55 from Bend, Oregon that was at our annual "Oldies but Goodies" drag racing event at Woodburn Dragstrip in 2019. I had never seen a 55 Chevy drag-only car so spotless. Oh, and it ran as good as it looks.

  21. A few years ago I was between tri-fives but I had a 425 nail head. I pictured it in a 57. Show us some pics of the Buick if you don’t mind.

I know I've posted the story about this 150 on the HAMB before, may have even posted on this thread, if y'all care to hear it again let me know.
