This is where we need something other than a "like". Brutal part of the sport. As I recall the spectators were not spared either.

  3. It is a fabrication, but I don't think there was any intention to deceive anyone with this. It appears to be a well made photo of a diorama with a highly detailed model. I think I've seen photos of it before but I don't believe they were this exact shot.

Agree ClayMart, in fact I think the photos may have shown up on the HAMB before at one point. Whoever made the model/diorama did an incredible job of recreating the chaos.

Great pic, just on the verge of gettin' hairy!
Blown, injected BBC, upswept pipes, digging to the left just a little.
'69 Ca***o in background has Endura bumper.

I don’t recall seeing this picture of Steve Carbone before.
    Isn’t this one being recreated?

Any idea who owned/drove that Willy's? Think it says Oddy Automotive on the side but I have no memory of this car in the Niagara area. Great pics thank you.

  22. So the reason you don't remember the car from back in the day is because it's a modern build someone photo shopped the color. Too bad it's a beautiful paint job with ghost lace and gold leaf. That's a car John Faust built at least 10-15 or so years ago. Not sure if he still owns it or not. Jim Oddy built the engine which is why it's painted on the quarter.

The S&H Red Stamp Special, but I don’t think the blower works too well set up that way. The negative was flipped on this photo.
