.1953 Ford mild 50s Custom. Frenched headlights nosed and decked. 56 Oldsmobile taillights, 56 Ford trim custom cut and modified to fit the 53 body. Inside cable release for shaved trunk lid. Paint is less than 2 years old, it shows very well. Engine is a 239ci 8 BA flathead, stock other than Fenton headers. Transmission has been updated to a newer model T-5 Manual 5 Speed. Dual exhaust system with baffle style glass packs. Firestone 6.70-15 white wall tires have approximately 5,000 miles. Brake system has been updated to dual bowl master cylinder, drum brake shoes and wheel cylinders were replaced 5,000 miles. Fuel tank and fuel line and electric fuel pump are new. All wiring has been updated to 12 volt with brand new fuse box and wire kit. and GM one wire alternator. Ignition system updated to a patronix. Front suspension lowered about 3 inch. With use of Aerostar coil springs and a 2 inch lower block, all correct lowering shocks have been used front and rear.
