Event Coverage The PINE TREE JAMBOREE! 1/2 fast hot rod races.

After months of planning it’s finally happening! We’re so excited to announce the PINE TREE JAMBOREE 1/2 Fast Hot Rod Races at the Winterport Dragway in beautiful Maine.

August 28-29-30 2020.....Yes, next year so get building or race your current ride.

Open to Flathead only, 4-6-8-V8–V12-V16 all makes and models.

Cut off is 1951.

We’re looking for period hot rods, rail jobs, stock cars and customs!

This is a 3-day event with a car show and swap meet. Trackside camping, bonfires permitted.

Weekend racer package is $150 which includes camping, tent or RV.

Spectator Camping $10 per night.

Walk ins $12

Vendors $40

Show cars $12

Is the cutoff year 1951 for everything, or just racers?

Modern transmissions are allowed, T5s, Muncie, th350 etc

Here are the rules and requirements to race

We’ve already had lots of interest from around the country, we are however limiting the amount of race cars, this will allow folks to make multiple passes all weekend. Clubs are encouraged to race other clubs... just have fun!

 

Entry submissions open August 28th 2019.

This is a blue collar hard working all American race! A family oriented race! Car show and swap meet. Where else can you camp on the race track, see beautiful Maine and buy old car parts....nowhere...

We have a limit of 150 cars and in just 5 days have reached 75

If your interested please don’t wait.

 

Really stoked for this. Old Yankee Speed Co will be set up with Millworks Hot Rod. I might even have my damn coupe done by then!

You can bring your vintage stock car, dragster, rail or funny car! Theres plenty of room, you can Vend from your spot.

Also...the helmets rule has changed.


Helmets do NOT need to be Snell approved, you just need a DOT approved helmet.

You can run open face in your roadster and or coupe, goggles are required tho.

 

Not that anyone cares, but after late 1929 Ford put "safety glass" in W. S. of Fords..

 

I don't know if there will be an opportunity to call people out but if there is I wanna drag that 32 5 window.

 

That’s the point of this race! Call people out,,,,race your pals and people you just met...forge friendships for the next year.
