  4. East coast style coupes are my fave! I've been collecting for years to build a '34 5w in that style. I will take notes!

A little bit of progress on the coupe this evening after work . Welded in and metal finished the cowl vent, and started making the new B piller structure out of 1/8 Steel when I’m done it will be a complete box channel structure . I never see the point of putting a wood inner structure back in a car that originally had it . especially going threw all this work why take the chance of your doors and body not lining up later on down the road after driving the car .

  14. Looking good. Back in the 60's I did a chopped & channeled five window and dropped the floor halfway down in the frame. It gave me so much room for a comfortable seat. With out a chopped top it may not be necessary. Will be watching this sure to be a nice Hot Rod.

  15. Wow! Great progress already. Are you planning on recessing the firewall to fit the six cylinder in there? I'd love to see the rest of the rendering too.

Aha! Somebody else uses a cordless skilsaw to cut metal! Fresh blades are a must!

When we cut tin for barn roofing an old timer told us to put the blade in the saw backwards. It worked like a charm.

I’ve heard that too for tin work .
    I’m cutting 1/8 with this . I used a
Demon Cermet II Carbide Blade for Ferrous Metals & Stainless Steel for this .

I'm from NJ, and not a big fan of the channeled, unchopped look, but daaaamn, that hits the nail on the head! And LOVE the Wayne 12 port engine!! Can't wait for updates!

Shades of Ike Iacono! (and his '34 "Jam-Packed Jimmie"!) HRM cover car, 1954...
Not a copy, but a brand new/old slant on GMC/Ford combo.
My first roadster was a '30 'A' Cabriolet, stock height windshield, channeled over Deuce rails. Great lines... Go, Cody!

  25. Is that a G.M.C. or Chevy 12 port?

Next question if it is a G.M.C. 270 or 302
    Chevy 216, 235, or 261?

261 Chevy 12 port is my hope!

I wish it was for a 261 , It’s for a 235 Chevy , from what I’m told only about 150 of these heads were ever made , and the side draft intake only about 5 . Wayne made one head for a 261 . Which is a 18 bolt head and the last I knew Pat Swanson has it in his 32-5 window coupe . all the rest of the Wayne Chevys were 15 bolt heads
