City: Red Oak State: Texas Price: $750 USD I bought a barn find 57 Chevy that had been parked in the late 70's. The owner said it was a 327 but when I tore it all down. It had a 64-67 327 block with power pack heads, A steel 283 Crank, Forged domed pistons. The block I had cleaned and prepped. It was standard bore but worn .015. The block checked out good with the exception of two small holes in the water jacket above the lifter valley. They made a brief effort to weld but the holes just grew. IF YOU KNOW A WAY TO REPAIR IT LET ME KNOW PLEASE! I believe it can be fixed with the correct HAMB expert. Maybe brazing would work? Block fill for the drag strip. I also have the manual 3 speed that I will sell with it all as a package. Please PM me for pictures and any questions.
