This one I saw being photographed and asked if it was ok for me to do as well so I have a lot more of it out on the salt like the top picture. I will probably post a few more later.

It was definitely bright out there. Hopefully the car is not appearing too bright.

Thanks Tony (@typo41). Despite the fact I couldn't wait to see the actual speed runs, I did have a great time and did get some decent images. I did find your camp and got a few pictures of your car as well. Thanks again so much!

You're very welcome and thanks @Marcia. It was a very pleasant surprise running into you and Frank there as well.
Perhaps you can enlighten the audience here a little more about the cars you were there with.

Bob Dauernheim built both of these cars. The flying pickle was built probably 25 years ago. He has been bringing the 608 Lakester to Bonneville for 20 years.

Met 608 liner pilot Don Biglow last year in Stuart Fl. just prior to his leaving for Bonneville. 80 years old and still going for it. Awsome!

Anybody that wants to talk salt with Don Biglow can show up at Shrimpers at 5 pm M-F in Stuart, Fla. He'll be at the end of the bar having a cocktail with Janet. He's the guy that looks like he put a bike down at 100+ mph...because he did! Stuart is full of LSRs including Joe Timney at Delaware Chassis Works.
