    The valve cover spacer is actually a Valve spring Oiler...

    That blown 427 Ford engine, was that for a boat and what is that on the bell housing above the starter? Cheers and thank you

    Well, I can answer any questions people have since that's my baby right there!
    I'll address the nozzle placement - yes above the blades and those are the only ones. With careful research you will find that on gas the higher the placement the better for horsepower. I wanted a near showerhead design We will be idling or WOT for the majority of the time - ie "Great White Dyno" of the salt. Keep in mind Gene Adams, Don Enriquez, and myself all have input on this system with Gene doing the tuning.

    The valve cover spacer is best explained here.

    This has been a design I've pondered for some time, Gene actually flowed it to compare to what other SB2.2 Nascar motors see for orifice flow. From the blanks, I machined the rest on my manual mill from there, killer piece for sure.

    Engine Labs is doing a writeup with more details that will be out soon. Any other questions?

    This retired machinist agrees, that's a neat piece(s).
    Speaking of "showerheads", for those that don't know it, that's what the injector hat was called that is on that SOHC Ford posted prior, made by Enderle in the early/mid 60's.

    That is actually a Parker Funnel Web for SBF windsor type heads..The little squarish boss just in front of carb flange has PARKER script on it and the water cross over has the script FUNNEL WEB [which is the name of a spider]..Pretty tall at 6.312;)
