Yup, three of us roared down from princeton, breakfast at the home restaurant, then a blast down the freeway, year 18 for me, I was number 350, never seen the show that busy. Got my two cobs of steaming, dripping butter and salt corn, very good time and as always, good show. 2 oclock came, back in the 36 for the blast home, 70 plus most of the way, traffic coming south on the hope princeton was very heavy, thank god we were going against it. Home by 4:30, my old girl performed again.
A really big thank you for posting pics. First time in a long time I missed the picnic. I've really buggered up my back so I hobbled around the Port Coquitlam show instead. Pretty good show in it's own right but it's no Hougen Park!
I went with a group of 3 cars and enjoyed the show. Quite a variety of stuff. The club did a good job and the corn was a hit. This coach built Dodge was really cool and unusual too. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I believe that Dodge was bodied in or came from Switzerland. It's been in the Vancouver area for quite some time.
I don't think I have ever seen Ford coupe body styles and a convertable with Mercury grilles and badging before and there are 3 examples here, all beautiful cars. HRP
^^ yep, '54 paint looks amazing in pic - must be a real beauty in person - Thanks for all of the pics
