I'm gunning for 670-15, was assured by Summit Racing that these tires would fit a 5" width wheel. Each tire has 1,450 weight rating per tire, enough for my hemi WITH the supercharger when the day arrives. The 2.25" wide whitewall is a perfect match for my rear Radir M/T cheater slicks. Really stoked!

too bad they don't make a 5.60 15 in that tire-! I don't know if I could run a tire that big (6.70) although they look perfect on Mikes car so they should look perfect on yours as well. I run 6.70's on my ranchero and was considering running goodyears this time around because I dig the sidewall so much.

I know I’ve been MIA this summer... it’s been really weird. I haven’t had shop time like I normally do... my wife had almost a month of training for the Air Force- I taught a summer class and had a week of training, week took a week family vacation... it’s been nuts.

I was able to buy some stuff for my coupe and roadster- and found a virtually free rebuilt 55 331... but other than that it’s been family stuff and prepping for work.

This was one of the things I nabbed, I guess it was posted her on the hamb.
I saw it listed somewhere else-

It’s the same shell as the green hemi powered Bobby Anderson roadster- they were made right here in Minnesota. I remember someone told me the story about them once but I just don’t recall.

    F07689A5-ACC6-4B80-8714-20F4A8D19A85.jpeg
The headlights have the wrong lights in them these are 58/9 chev I believe I think Bobby’s roadster has 60 t-bird rings that fit inside the lips- these are hovering above.

I plan to run this on the coupe so it’s quad city in my shop I guess! If anyone knows anymore history about these shells and who made them back in the day please speak up- I wanna know.

This one was baby blue then red on top- white gel coat.

You are one, very fortunate hotrodder Tuck! This can be the score of a lifetime - you're telling us that these quad grills were possibly bought over the counter? AMAZING!!! You know I'm joining you in the "Quad Headlight Club"...

  10. I saw that at Roadster's swap six years back; glad to see it is going to be on the road again. Sure would be interesting to know it's story.

If you trim the horns and suicide mount the spring in front it works perfect with a cut down deuce radiator... it’s trimmed out for the spring- assuming this is how they may have ran it to get it low and over the axle.

That looks like it lines up pretty damn well as it sits. You could drill a couple of holes and bolt er on.

Knock the horns off and build a sweet chin bar to protect that precious glass.

Tuck...If you haven't committed to tires yet, look for a pair of 6.40 X 15. Had them on the front of my '34 fenderless five window, and Teddy DeMello ran them on the front of his full-fendered '33, (4" dropped axle, reversed/flattened front spring) Hard bumps the little 6.40s would 'kiss' the tops of the cherry black fenders...barely...
Better cross section than the 5.50, smaller than the 6.70, not as 'huge' a profile.

Are their dual headlight assemblies from any 50-60s Oldsmobile out there that would sit well in the Bitchin glass piece?
Have you purchased a semi trailer full of white poofy stuff to place under the coupe and roadster?

I saw those I want to snag the buckets and all-

I cut the horns off the coupe frame and started sizing it up- what I need to do is put the front end together and put it in the frame with a flat crossmember and figure out ride height with my spring so I can get the shell in the money spot- hoping to use a shorter t radiator inside it-

Here’s some shots of the Bobby Anderson roadster from under the front - they cut away a section of the lower headlight to get it in the right spot-

As much as this would rule on the roadster it would a bit of rework to use it and I dig where that car is headed- A659E2C7-61CD-4CFC-887A-E379FBAA5777.png BDE77230-3249-42F3-8B4E-74D304C8C738.png BC090015-ED25-483C-804A-9235860703DF.png C555AB64-909E-4C31-8AFE-B5B29BA5ED3A.png

I also would like to add how this is going to suit the cars name. You won’t even be trying to pull off “ StAr DeStroyer” with that front end. People will just know.
Tuck is yours molded like that in back as well? Super clean finish.

Edit. I see that it’s not, oops. Time for more resin and spit wads.
