Technical Frankland quick change rear

    Just picked this up not sure if its worth throwing money at can anybody use it and whats it worth?

    You will need to post better pictures than that, mainly taken apart. If the pinion support is destroyed, price goes down.
    Not convinced its a Frankland...

  4. Agreed, that does not look like a Franklin.

    Notice how the spur gear cover comes off on a Franklin.

    I have a Halibrand 301, Winters champ, and a Frankland, and the one pictured in the first post doesn't strike me as a Frankland.

  6. Franklin built air cooled cars. Frankland built QC 3rd members. Another dude named Franklin invented bifocals and a type of wood burning stove, but, I digress

    You were right its a Halibrand 301 with a spool and 486 gears got it apart now to clean it all up

  13. Does it have "Culver City" cast into it? Several years back I got $3,000 for an original unused CC Halibrand.
