Thanks for posting the video! The weather was a little frustrating yesterday, but we did get in a few passes. The track never dried out enough for us to run the full 1/4 mile. Still had a blast! Lots of awesome cars and got to meet alot of good "HAMB" people!!

Made a stainless steel trim ring for park brake this week. Been putting it off for years, seems now I will have to make a matching ring for shifter. IMG_4724.JPG IMG_4756.JPG

Been wanting to do this ever since I’ve built the garage.

Finishing up the backdating of the '85 460 to '72 appearance. New timing set and oil pump since I was in there. So damn humid today it's not funny. Now for the engine mount kit to install it in the Galaxie.

Replaced the starter solenoid and starter on one of my 36 cabriolets to get it back on the road after it suddenly didn't want to start yesterday. Should have replaced both when I built the car last year but you know how that goes... "let's getting running first.":D

I took all of my kids to the Turlock swap meet today! It was fun, loosely organized chaos and the middle child managed to lose a GM transmission mount I needed somewhere  but still had fun. Found a transmission yoke I needed, now I can measure for a driveshaft!

If you ever see us at a swap, don’t hesitate to say hi, we’re nice people.

  13. I am getting rid of projects that I know I shouldn't waste my time on. I sold a Chevy big block, two ot cars and a 3 phase plasma cutter.
My son and I helped the buyer of the plasma cutter, load it into the back of a Honda Civic hatchback. The tires looked almost flat, and I know he is driving almost 150 miles with the thing. We wished him good luck. Robin-plasma_cutter_Honda_sm_crp.jpg

Help always comes with a price. But in the end it's cheap because they will have pride in the car because they got to help. With my kids, if they wanted to try something and I figured they couldn't mess it up worse than I could fix it up, give it a shot.

Hot today. Put up some shade when cutting and fitting the edges.

  23. We have a 72 F250 we are selling or parting out. and its listed on Facebook Marketplace LOL! the Fe engines is real good, the C6trans is shot. The worst thing Is someone filled out the title and never got it put in their name. Today Ive been working on tires. Too damm hot. So I worked a little . drank a lot of beverage and took several breaks back inside the air cond and watched Shaun the sheep with the grandsons.

Stayed in the shade and nursed my sore back the best I could. :(
I did pick up some long awaited milled material for some rocker arm shaft stands spacers. :)

Coming Charles ...I'm thinking the builder of said engine maybe getting a bit forgetful ...as there was quite a few items that needed adjustments . But I think it will be singing soon:rolleyes:

Played with my newest hot rod. Since paint is taking so long on my ‘32 5 window, I have been shopping for a toy to play with right now. Decided on something newer. Found a 2007 Mustang GT with only 8,780 miles on it last week. Bought it. Decided it had been stock long enough. Added a cold air intake, strut tower brace and some new fatter tires. Also doing an axle back exhaust and short throw shifter when they get here. A blast to drive, cheap to insure and license. Get parts anywhere.

It’s in no way traditional but it’s fun.

In the morning I got a scoop of DG for landscaping, then later I went to Home Depot for lumber and when I came out I saw 3 old Chevy's parked together. Still on the road! myC10-at-work.jpg HD-Chevys.jpg
