For Sale is my 1963 Dodge Town wagon, a very low production number of these trucks were made and you don't see them too often at the car shows so you will certainly stand out ! This vehicle started its life as a Navy truck and was later acquired by my family and has been in my family for many many years.

    Mechanical :
In 2015 we swapped the Poly 318 with 4 speed granny out with a Late model 360 V8 and a 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission. At that time we put a new trans cooler on , electronic ignition , replaced the starter and alternator , and put a new radiator in it .
The 727 transmission was rebuilt in 2014 prior to the swaps completion .
Later we added a 489 mopar third member with 2.76 gears so this truck will cruise down the freeway comfortably !
    1406 edelbrock carb
new front disc brake conversion with power booster and we did the king pins at that time as well.
new rear brake drums, shoes and cylinders
dual glasspack exhaust system with side kickouts
Wheels and tires were put on about 2 1/2 years ago - 16'' crown vic wheels
swan stainless genie shifter with beer keg handle

    Body & Interior :
Replaced drivers and passenger front floor pans
All window gaskets and felts including side sliders and new windshield and seal done in 2014
Wired for dome light via door jamb switches just not completed
headliner is incomplete and just has a foam basing
    interior needs completion
all electrical working - headlights , tail lights , brake lights , turn signals , wipers , high low beam
New under dash speaker and head unit recently installed with antenna
front split seat re upholstered and re stuffed
gauges all work ( fuel gauge is not 100% accurate, needs a new sending unit to match the Ohms of the gauge )
replaced old bed wood with new plywood.
Carpet and padding front to back
front section also has foil insulation underneath carpeting to help with heat and road noises.
Have rear of bed side panels made and covered ready to install

    Needs attention :
This truck has had a lot of mechanical work but still needs some cosmetic attention here and there as pictures will show.
Dent in lower drivers door, top seam and drip rail have sporadic surface rust areas with one small rust through spot as seen in photos
recommend bear claw latches - doors open and close and will latch but you have to find the right alignment to get it to seal correctly- just takes a little getting use too
could use new door latch and window crank splined shafts - drivers side has wear on splines and can slip.
