Can anyone tell me what an original 32 Ford bare frame weighs? It has all three crossmembers still in place along with the rails. I searched high and low on the internet with no results!

Depends on how rusty it is !
I would guess around 100 kgs or more. ie 220 lbs maybe even 250 lbs
If you cannot get an accurate weight, ring someone who makes a reproduction one to get a rough idea.

Ionia Hot Rods builds (and ships) them with orig "style" center structure, theirs might be close to stock weight, call them @ 616-527-6051.

My guess is an even 300.

  15. I could have told you accurately a few years back. I had a good industrial style weighing machine that went up to several hundred pounds, but one day my wife went out to the shop to get something and inadvertently stepped on it and broke it.

Honey, does this industrial scale make my butt look big? Sheesh...

So a few years back, an old girlfriend sat down on the throne, which had a plastic seat with a few miles on it, and the seat broke. So it bends down as it breaks, and she goes to stand up, and it does a bear trap on her . I'm talkin' HIGH VOLUME YELLING- so in I go, and of course she won't/can't sit still, and I'm trying SO hard to not laugh  So now the blood is starting to flow, so I get her pinned and jump in her lap to bend the broken seat down, but she's whackin' me and cussin' a blue streak like it's MY fault. Finally I reach down and get ahold of the broken seat and pull it apart and get her loose, but the yelling went on for a fair bit, and she was cut pretty good on the back of the leg and still bleeding. "Cut off" doesn't begin to describe the next couple weeks
